A W Brows and Lashes offers a result-oriented apprenticeship and training program that is customized for the Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist seeking to become an Advanced Esthetician in the state of Nevada.
Our educational course covers the latest and best laser hair removal treatments. The Esthetician is trained on state of the art equipment that delivers a painless hair removal experience.
All Laser services and the Laser Hair Removal Apprenticeship and Training Program are overseen and supervised by a Licensed Medical Professional.
The Apprenticeship and Training Program can be completed in 60 days, which would include 150 hours of Practical Experience as an operator of lasers for medical or esthetics purposes under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
After successfully completing the apprenticeship training program the apprentice will be able to:
1. Recognize the client's unique characteristics
2. Understand the fundamentals of how the laser interacts with the skin tissue
3. Explain how different types of laser interact with the skin
4. Quickly identify safety issues and complications as well as recognize contradictions for various cosmetic laser treatments
5. Determine which type of laser treatments will generate the client's desired results.
6. Be knowledgeable in the hazards associated with cosmetic lasers and how to avoid them.
7. Demonstrate proper technique and safe operation of the cosmetic laser.
8. Explain the benefits, expectations and results associated with laser devices.
Once the Esthetician or Cosmetologist is able to demonstrate all of the above they will receive a Certificate of Completion from our Laser Hair Removal Course. They will also receive an Affidavit of Practical Experience to Submit to the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology. Either of these documents will allow the Esthetician or Cosmetologist to apply for and receive their Advanced Estheticians License
To be eligible to enroll in the program you must currently hold a valid Estheticians or Cosmetology License issued by the State of Nevada Board of Cosmetology.
Esthetician or Cosmetology Licenses issued by another state throughout the United States are acceptable as well just as long as they are current and valid.
